Our FRP Cover Top Grating is ideal for applications that require an enclosed top surface. With a 3mm、5mm、10mm top surface adhered to our Regular Mesh Grating, our Cover Top is suitable for bridge decking, boardwalks, shared pathways, cycleways, and trench covers. It is durable, low maintenance, easy to install, and highly resistant to fire, slips, and corrosion.

Solid Top

FRP diamond covered grating is the perfect solution for applications that require a corrosion-resistant, non-slip, and long-service-life solid top. It is made from molded fiberglass flooring, which is stronger and more durable than open mesh grating. It provides a level surface that is perfect for foot or cart traffic and is approximately 30% stiffer than open mesh grating. Diamond covered grating is ideal for applications that require a solid top to prevent contamination of work surfaces below, to control subsurface odors, or to prevent tripping hazards for narrow heels. The superior performance of covered grating makes it the perfect choice for any application that requires a strong and reliable flooring solution.

Additives and Fillers improve the performance of resin in certain applications and can enhance the surface cosmetics of finished parts.

Polyester resin additives can enhance fire-retardancy, reduce resin shrinkage, improve thermal stability and increase the weatherability of composites products. Fillers may also be added to resin to improve performance and enhance surface cosmetics while reducing cost.

Fillers and additives include fumed silica, alumina trihydrate, calcium carbonate, stearates, and glass, ceramic, or thermoplastic microspheres.

Molded Fiberglass GRP Top choics:

The top crescent surfaces : there is no quartz sands on the concave or semi-lunar surfaces,which provide excellent anti-slip effects in wet, muddy or oily environments, and is one type of the commonly basic anti-slip grating.

 

The quartz sands surfaces: laying quartz sands on the top surfaces of FRP grating, the solidified quartz sands and covered on the top surfaces, which can provide an excellent anti -slip effects.

FRP Resins Systems Choices:

Phenolic resin (Type P): The best choice for applications requiring max fire retardant and low smoke emissions such as oil refineries, steel factories, and pier decks.
Vinyl Ester (Type V): withstand the strict chemical environments used for chemical, waste treatment, and foundry plants.
Isophthalic resin (Type I): A nice choice for applications where chemical splashes and spills are a common occurrence.
Food Grade Isophthalic resin (Type F): Ideally suitable for food and beverage industry factories which are exposed to strict clean environments.
General Purpose Orthothphalic resin (Type O): economic alternatives to vinyl ester and isophthalic resins products.

Epoxy Resin(Type E):offer very high mechanical properties and fatigue resistance, taking the advantages of other resins. Mold costs are similar to PE and VE, but material costs are higher.
