GRP / FRP SMC Connectors For Handrails Fitting Product Range
The Sinogrates FRP Handrail Clamp is designed to make it easier to install a handrail system that is both strong and chip-resistant. The clamp is made of a robust, impact-resistant material that is non-corrosive and non-sparking, making it suitable for use in a variety of challenging environments. The low electrical and thermal conductivity of the material makes it suitable for use close to electrical installations, while its light weight makes it easier to transport and handle on site.
The Sinogrates FRP Handrail Clamp has a number of advantages over traditional steel handrail systems. It is much more resistant to corrosion and rust, meaning that it will be able to withstand the elements better than steel. It is also non-sparking, making it suitable for use in areas where flammable materials are present. The low electrical and thermal conductivity of the material also make it safer to use in areas with electrical installations, as it will not conduct electricity or become too cold to the touch in extreme temperatures.
The Sinogrates FRP Handrail Clamp also requires minimal tools and no welding for installation, making it easier and faster to install than a steel handrail system. Grade 316 stainless steel fasteners are provided with each fitting, ensuring that the entire structure is corrosion-resistant. This means that the handrail system will be able to withstand the elements for a longer period of time than a steel handrail system.

FRP/GRP LONG TEE
The FRP Long Tee is a 90° tee connection, typically used to connect vertical posts to the top rail of a GRP handrail. The FRP can be used where two lengths of tube need to be joined within the top of the fitting.
FRP/GRP 90° ELBOW
This 90 Degree elbow joint, which often used in a GRP handrail or guardrail to connect the top rail to the upright post at the end of a run,
FRP/GRP INTERNAL SWIVEL
An inline adjustable knuckle often used where a horizontal rail is joined to a sloping section while achieving a smooth finish to the rail.

FRP/GRP 120° ELBOW
120° elbow handrail fitting. Commonly used where handrails change from level to slopes or stairs and for direction changes.
FRP/GRP BASE PLATE
The FRP Base Plate is a base flange with four fixing holes, used to fix down the upright posts in a handrail or guardrail.
FRP/GRP MID CORNER
The 4-Way Corner Joint is often used in a GRP handrail or guardrail to continue the middle rail on a 90 Degree corner, but can also be used to build rectangular or square structures. The upright tube passes vertically through the GRP fitting.

The FRP 90° Cross Joint is often used to join the middle rail to an intermediate upright post in a GRP handrail or guardrail. The upright passes vertically through the FRP fitting.

A palm-type fitting, often used to attach guardrail uprights to walls, staircases and ramps.
FRP/GRP DOUBLE SWIVEL
A versatile swivel fitting, useful for awkward applications where angles cannot be accommodated by angle fittings. The through-tube cannot be joined within the fitting.

The FRP Single Swivel connector is a versatile swivel fitting，used where angles vary on slopes, steps and landings.

30° cross fitting (Middle rail), this FRP fitting is often used where middle rails on staircases meet intermediate uprights. The through tube cannot be joined within the fitting.
FRP/GRP SHORT TEE
The 90 Degree Short Tee Connector is typically used in a GRP handrail to connect vertical posts to the top rail, or to join the midrail to the end post.
FRP/GRP SQUARE BASE PLATE
The FRP Square Base Plate is a base flange with two fixing holes , used to fix down the upright posts in a handrail or guardrail. for 50mm FRP square handrail tubes.

FRP Resins Systems Choices:
Phenolic resin (Type P): The best choice for applications requiring max fire retardant and low smoke emissions such as oil refineries, steel factories, and pier decks.
Vinyl Ester (Type V): withstand the strict chemical environments used for chemical, waste treatment, and foundry plants.
Isophthalic resin (Type I): A nice choice for applications where chemical splashes and spills are a common occurrence.
Food Grade Isophthalic resin (Type F): Ideally suitable for food and beverage industry factories which are exposed to strict clean environments.
General Purpose Orthothphalic resin (Type O): economic alternatives to vinyl ester and isophthalic resins products.
Epoxy Resin(Type E):offer very high mechanical properties and fatigue resistance, taking the advantages of other resins. Mold costs are similar to PE and VE, but material costs are higher.
